We relocated from Maryland to Texas in 2019. We very quickly fell in love with everything Texas including "ranchin". We have met some wonderful people who have shared their time and knowledge. This has led us to our little slice of heaven we hope to share with you
ABOUT LN RANCH
Moving to Texas was a massive cultural change. We had previously had four chickens (ever). We knew we wanted a few chickens and some "mini" goats which we quickly learned were nigerian dwarf goats. From there we continued to expand and fall in love with all the other stock that ranches have to offer. We initially owned 3 acres, then six and now - eighty-five. We decided early on to go with australian low line angus due to their ability to offer a nice weight ratio with far less need for graze and feed compared to full size cattle. We fell in love with their personalities and gentle demeanors. We did eventually add full size cattle which were chosen for not only breeding but personality. All of our animals here at the Ranch are friendly and will eat out of your hand. Because we are a very small operation, it is important to us that our stock bond with us and be gentle. This is also what we look for when we breed so that others can enjoy them like we do.
